I am merely the messenger here. I read through several hundred posts on FB re: the issues they were having. (Spouse in hospital; needed a distraction.) The spring break season lasts for five weeks there, and there is no let-up. Imagine five straight weeks of Carnival, without a pause for work or normalcy. The locals are tired and fed-up. We encountered a slight taste of what they have to deal with when I unsuspectingly scheduled a late April trip there several years ago, not being aware that many religious schools take their spring break after Easter. Most of our fellow visitors were pleasant, but just enough - adult and youth - were entitled and bratty - to make us reconsider our travel choices. I was shocked at how many recent FB posters were expressing the same sentiment, and swearing never to visit 30A again.
