Can speak to the straw rolls from home depot.
Fresh pond dug with that dirt creating leavee around the pond. Put down my Bermuda seed then covered entire pond leavee (again fresh raw packed dirt) with the straw rolls from home depot. It's been 8 years since the straw/fishing string rolls were put in place. We have not had one single erosion event occur. Would recommend
The straw rolls are to stay in place as installed forever. The Bermuda will grow up through and you'll eventually not see the straw/fishing string material.
