He hit two threes, followed by two bad turnovers while laying on the ground for four seconds seeing if his team was going to get the ball back or not

It's blasphemy # 1 for the MJ fans to think basketball started with Jordan.

That's a NBA and Nike creation.

It's blasphemy for the LBJ fans to disrespect the 1960s,1970s,1980s and even 1990s Greats,Superstars, and Stars .

That's a NBA and Media creation.

It's totally unacceptable that Kareem Abul Jabbar isn't mentioned in NBA GOAT discussions...MJ was more athletic than KAREEM but NOT A Better Basketball Player than Cap!!

Kareem dominated at all levels from Day 1 including the NBA.He has as many titles...top 3 all time scorer...top 3 all time rebounder...scored 2000 pts 9 times...scored 1000 pts 19 times...led in blocks 4 times....15 All NBA selections...regular season MVP 6 times...Finals MVP 2 times(should have been 3 because he led the 1980 title team to the Finals as regular season MVP) then averaged 33ppg ,13rpg,3apg,4blks against Philly in the Finals......Magic had a dynamic Game 6(Kareem was out)and was awarded the Finals MVP which should have went to Kareem..

Kareem was ROY averaging 28ppg,14rpg and had 40points and 25rebounds in a playoff which had only been done by another GOAT Candidate Wilt Chamberlain..

In year 2 he led the Bucks to best record ,was MVP averaging 31ppg scoring almost 2600 pts...then averaged 27ppg on 60% fg as Finals MVP....helping aging great Oscar Robertson to his only NBA title......

Kareem has accomplished as much as Jordan plus more points, rebounds and blocks..

Kareem was All Defense 11 times and averaged blocks and 11 rebounds...

20 seasons career averages:24ppg,11rpg,3apg,2blocks....

Jordan nor LeBron was better entering the NBA.....
Kareem had no weaknesses in the game of basketball.

Young Jordan didn't have an outside jumper.

Young LeBron could not play with his back to the basket, had an avg jumper .

I still rank Kareem as the GOAT followed by the most dominant player in NBA history, Wilt Chamberlain with Jordan 3rd!!!

All the NBA players ranked and rank Kobe over LeBron because they go by more than stats!!!

It's only LBJ fans,Kobe haters and Media that think Kobe Bryant was below LBJ!!

What is crazy is 2 of 3 AND 3 of 3 are one and the same!!! SMH!!

Footwork, ball handling, offensive range and ability to score at all 3 levels,1 on 1 defense, heart and desire, aggressiveness =Kobe Bryant...

So you will win your statistics battle but the ONLY REASON THE MOST DOMINANT PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY THEN AND NOW IS OVERLOOKED IS BECAUSE HE ONLY WON 2 TITLES!!!

NOBODY DID MORE THAN WILT CHAMBERLAIN. HE WAS BETTER THAN LEBRON AND THE ONLY CENTERS MENTIONED WITH WILT ARE KAREEM AND BILL RUSSELL..

Wilt wasn't stopped but his teams only beat Boston 2 times..

Wilt averaged 28ppg,26rpg,3apg against the Great Bill Russell and the Great Celtics dynasty.

Wilt played against a minimum of 15 centers who were 6'9-7'0 tall...Dispelling the bogus argument that he was always the biggest and tallest that's why he was so dominant!

Wilt was so dominant because he was such a skilled athlete and a very skilled basketball player. He ran distance in track and field, was a broad jumper, long jumper, and high jumper.

He was a great passer and a great shooter but didn't shoot outside much because he was so dominant inside.

After leaving Kansas he honed his ball handling passing dribbling and outside shooting by playing with the Harlem Globetrotters and did play with them in the Summers a couple of times while in the NBA.

His only weakness in basketball was free throw shooting and his solution to that was jumping from the free throw line to lay in and dunk his free throws.
.
Coach Tex Winter(architect of the Triangle Offense) complained to the league and they changed the rules disallowing Wilt's new ft strategy. One of a couple of rule changes they made for Wilt Chamberlain.

Wilt is top 3 scoring, number 1 rebounder, number 1 blocked shots after game film and box scores were reviewed (although they were not official stats for most of his career)...

Wilt averaged 30ppg and 22rpg...Only Jordan averaged 30ppg..

As great a defender as Jordan and Kobe were they didn't block shots, alter shots, rebound on Wilt Chamberlain's level..

Only Kareem surpassed Wilt in numbers and LBJ nor Jordan nor Kobe is on the level of Kareem and Wilt!!
.
My personal NBA GOAT list is::: Kareem #1A Wilt #1B,Jordan #3,Kobe #4

Scottie's issues with MJ go deeper than on the court. Allegedly he felt he didn't get enough shine for his contributions to the Bulls run, and MJ's son Marcus has been dating his ex-wife.

Yet LBJ scores the ball more and does it while shooting a higher percentage.

quote:

heart and desire, aggressiveness =Kobe Bryant...

Kobe had the heart and desire to be more clutch than LBJ but shoots 29% in clutch in time while LBJ shoots 32%. All that heart and desire and the media narrative don't matter if it doesn't show itself.

o you will win your statistics battle

It's kinda important to have the facts on your side in an argument. The stats are the facts. There have certainly been players that were stat chasers but then sucked in the playoffs (Harden) but LBJ has some of the greatest performances in the history of the playoffs and raised his level of play every year in the postseason.l

Critical game 2, tie score 16 seconds left and Lebron has a chance to end this thread once and for all......

Wait. Lebrons four title MVPs didn’t end this thread but if he made a shot last night it would have ended this?

Trump could balance the budget and end child cancer and the derangement won’t end

Lebron could score every point in the 4th qtr and win the title this year at 40 and this derangement won’t end

Both groups above are crazy, insane, irrational, sky screamers

They let personal hate of an individual cloud them from any sane conversation on the subject

At this point, the only thing that these types of discussions do is attempt to pump up 2 guys that havent played in years and havent done anything that the active guy is doing.... so its a waste of time to repopulate this discussion every year

When will people grow up and stop scrolling and only reuse the same garbage that the media outlets know will get clicks.

So sad...

He says Lebron making a shot would have ended this thread for good

Lebron had a 4th qtr against the clerics down 3-2 in a series that was epic on his way to an nba title. Nobody in this thread gives a shite about actual basketball stuff
