re: Whats the best way to get out of Jury Duty?

I had never gotten called into jury duty and then last year got called in for county court and federal court within months. The county court was easy. They let you off for anything, even pre planned vacations. I had a work conflict and easily got off. Federal court was a whole bigger ball game. They were super strict and it was a lot harder to get off. Fun fact - I was in the jury pool for the synagogue shooter in Pittsburgh who killed 11 people. Never got selected but was shocked when the dude pled not guilty. It was creepy with him standing feet from us as we got sworn in before questioning.
