I do like the old original Orange Crush ‘77 throwbacks. Looks pretty accurate from what I remember right down to the sock striping. Good job there.
As for the “modern” update, they’ll sell a few jerseys and then they’ll likely quietly go away in five years for something else. Hopefully by then, a permanent return to the orange and sky blue “throwback” look.

Can’t sell retro Jerseys when they are still the main jersey being worn
Teams will tweak jerseys every 1-3 seasons and then do a major overhaul every decade or so. If you’re lucky, fans will even like the overhaul eventually and then boom you’ve got yourself another retro uniform to sell in the future after the next round of changes

I disagree. The Jets going back to the “New York Sack Exchange” unis were a good move. And I like what Detroit did. Awaiting to see what Houston does but with seeing the away jersey leak they don’t look too bad.

Nike will eventually roll out the Oregon-esque style rotation of jerseys to as many NFL franchises will allow it, there will be some curmudgeons who will hold out like Green Bay, Pittsburgh and the Raiders but those teams will be missing out on the extra revenue.

The pants look really bad. I'm sure the striping has a stupid backstory to explain why one stripe only goes 1/3 way down the leg but a backstory doesn't make them look less shitty.
