Was there too. Van Halen, Doobies and Stones.

IIRC the ticket was $14.70

What a deal. Sunday I paid $9.50 for a 16oz beer.

Was there, but the first, and second time, I saw them was in 1975 in Baton Rouge when they performed twice in one day to kick off their Tour of the Americas. The Meters opened for them. Hell of a couple of shows.

Boomers don’t seem to realize they underpaid all their favorite bands and they are all now trying to make up for it

i was there as well

one of the most memorable experiences of my lifetime, and the source material for one of my favorite epic stories to tell - and the show, while great, was the least interesting part of it
