It blows my mind, both sides have a ton of guilt/blame/you name it, on them… but one side always seems to have the bully pulpit in America. The other does not.

This is a genuine question: why the frick would you care which side has the “bully pulpit?”

To put the choice in simple terms, one side would gleefully murder you and everyone you care about with extreme prejudice, and the other would not. This is not some splitting hairs, “both are bad” situation. Hamas, along with the entire extremist subset of Islam, is very explicit in their desire to exterminate infidels. Israel by no means has a flawless track record on human rights, but they do show some degree of care for human life. If they didn’t, Gaza would have been 100% leveled by this point.

I guess we watch videos and assume everything they claim is true now?

I watched videos that the terrorists themselves released. Is that good enough?

It really does defy the imagination that such a breach was allowed to happen, and worse, the pathetic initial response. It really hasn’t been questioned enough if you ask me.

We’ve let over 30k military aged men from China, the Mideast, Russia, etc into the US unchecked over the last two years. Just wait until something like this happens here

These people would be sympathizing with the Japanese after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

None of these people gave a flying frick what the US did in Afghanistan and Iraq. God forbid Israel defend itself

You are right. The WWII in full color documentary made me empathetic for all impacted as well. Caring about the innocent people caught in the crossfire is something that will never cause me shame.

Documentaries are extremely effective at influencing people's opinions. Its why they are almost useless forms of storytelling if you want the actual truth.

Lots of pro life, Christians advocating for the slaughter of innocent children. Thankfully, ending a post with “War is hell” cancels out all the hypocrisy and psychotic thoughts.

Just like Jesus would do

Let me guess, you live in CA, you’re a bleeding heart liberal and your white guilt is a heavy cross to bear? How many BLM marches have you participated in?

I guess after watching this doc you are itching to send Israel half your life savings so they can continue beat away the super-bad guys and re-claim the rest of their God-given land?

Try to get some sleep. Banks don't open 'till 9am

No need to watch the documentary. I’ve seen actual raw footage. I’ve also spent time in Israel and have seen the iron dome in action night after night.

Your pathetic attempts to paint Israel and the Jewish people in a certain light aren’t changing anyone’s mind. Get out of your parents house and wave your Palestinian flag, no one gives a shite.

I agree. That was actually my first take on the one this thread is about. But it is still difficult footage to see. I wish as a species we could find a better path.

I don’t think I am the one with the difficult to control emotional responses here buddy. But to answer yes I live in California, no I haven’t gone to any BLM marches, and no I am not bleeding heart liberal. Only a fricking moron would think that there is a damn bit of difference between republicans and democrats.

Should I have instead said liberal or conservative? Both are nonsensical.

Look I don’t doubt you saw atrocities either in raw footage, on interwebs or in person. I think you missed my point. Celebrating or calling for the eradication of a population makes you morally no better than the people who cheered after 9/11. Rise above. Be better. Feel remorse for the people who will endure tragedy for leaders they may not want to follow. Care that the suffering is happening even if you find it just. Question why men keep putting us in a predicament to kill others and if that is the path we should follow. And lastly be grateful everyday that you aren’t waking up to bombs. But for the grace of god it could be you and your children tomorrow.

I didn’t realize that seeking justice was tenet of your faith. I’m not stating that to be a smart arse. I really can’t speak to tenets of Christianity. I have always thought it was to promote love, peace and kindness.

Nah. I can hold my faith separate from my belief in wrath and reckoning. Peace, love, and kindness to those that offer the same. To those that bring violence, I answer with overwhelming return of same.
