Everyone is aware of the context, but at some point the leader has to take control of the process. Happens in every business at some point. It's idiotic not to lay blame 3 years into a tenure.

What do you call paying Bo Davis 4 million dollars? Because that sounds like taking control to me.
You want LSU to give 2 million dollars to some player that nobody here knew about a month ago and hope that he's good enough to win the depth chart and good enough to make a difference?
