Not a chance in hell. Those scenarios assume teams decide to just blow their roster up. I would rather a 3 way deal that assures us of a player not a hope that some team blows up their roster and chooses NOLA to send their players to.

Detroit is not guaranteed to draft top 3. They should, but could fall to 5.

The draft lottery is next week, we would know the pick before the trade happens.

Trade couldn’t be finalized before the start of the league year anyway as that’s when Detroit would have the cap space.
