The Knicks finished 50-32. They were 15-15 against the West. Must be nice to only play 30 games against the West.

The Houston Rockets, along with all 10 teams ahead of them in the West had a better winning percentage against the West than the Knicks did.


9 of the top 10 teams in the west had at least 19 wins against the east (out of 30 games played, so 19-11 or better).
In the East, outside of the Celtics, only the Cavs 17-13, Sixers 16-14 and Bulls 17-14 had a winning record against the West.
One conference is clearly a lot better than the other.



and I like Brunson a lot, and he's had a great season, but there's no one from the East outside of Boston that has a chance at competing for a title this year.
