You’ll probably catch a bunch of downvotes because you asked if it’s “tGOAT,” but it’s easily one of my favorites, and it always kills me. Michael Cera especially. His sort of quiet brand of humor in it is just perfect. He has so many toss away lines that crack me up just because of the way he delivers them.

I'm an old geezer who doesn't like Breakfast Club, but I do like Superbad. Michael Cera's character is a very relatable one for me because he just seems like a regular kid with the same problems we all had as teenagers. Kind of a teenage every man. Some of us may have figured out a little more about the opposite sex a couple of years earlier than his character, but we all went thru not feeling sure about how to deal with a lot of situations.

Jonah Hill's character is also relatable because we all had goofy friends that kept us laughing. Some of us need a guy like that that's a little more outgoing than we are. Who doesn't like, and need a friend like him to pick us up every so often.

McLovin is one of those characters that breaks new ground, and has to be added to the cavalcade of past classic comedy characters. Having him in the movie is a genius move by everyone involved. Him being the one to interact , and develop a relationship with the cops is one of the funniest parts of the movie.

When I saw the movie I thought a sequel that had McLovin becoming a member of the force could be really funny. A TV series about that character being on the police force with the other cops would probably be a hit too.

I just love the scene where he's forced to sing. Him and the coked out dude are hilarious
