Ahh, it feels like the good old days, convincing ourselves that there is some magical trade that will turn Lamar Odom, Luis Scola, and Kevin Martin into a borderline all-star.

You don't trade a dollar for 4 quarters, much less 4 dimes.

In most cases this is true. But Ingram isn't some superstar and at $50 million, he's a negative and you're better off with nothing than having to pay even more assets to dump him.
