Was the Statue of Liberty a plan by France as way to get the US to take Europe’s excess people that they couldn’t take care of? I hate the SOL’s quote about give us your tired and your hungry. FU. I say give us your best and brightest who will be the greatest contributors to our society.

Go read the history of the SOL. The designer had no place to store it. He "gave" it to the US to keep it from being scrapped. Regardless, the quote on the SOL is NOT the immigration policy of the US, nor should it be.

At that time it was fine because the US was a developing nation, today we're a nation being destroyed from within.
