Good job baw.
Some older folks can be hard to help do to pride. It's gotta be tough admitting to yourself that you can't do all the shite you used to. The old man across the street from me is that way. Won't let any of the younger baws in the neighborhood help him.
Sounds like she had it handled other than the belt breaking. The OP noticed she needed help and got after it. I'm sure he'd help a lot more if he could but there's only so much we can do when working, dealing with kids, maintaining our own houses, etc. A lot of folks would have just rode by and not given it a second thought.
