Biggest issue I have is the arrogance of archaeologists and paleontologists declaring theories about what they think happened thousands and tens of thousands of years ago as indisputable fact.
I’m all about scientific breakthroughs and new technology to help us understand what happened in the past. Keep digging and researching any way you can and hopefully we learn more. But the whole ‘shut down any opposing theories and end discussion based on consensus ’ crowd is doing a huge disservice to their own profession. The fact is we know very little, relatively, about ancient history. There’s too much conjecture being reported as fact. Time and time again, new information either casts doubt or completely changes what we thought to be true. Let hard evidence and facts speak for themselves.
