Depends on if you have options besides that house. I might just decide to extend the boundaries of my neighborhood in order to increase my security.

And if you have the power to do that, you may even sow some chaos in the surrounding neighborhoods to create a casus belli so that you can expand the boundaries of your neighborhood.
