Nobody "got" to her, she's just a dumbass.
Heck, she should be disqualified on the decision to have that silly work done on her face. That alone shows a lack of decision making skills.

Sorry. I refuse to believe that one can be so dumb in this instance.
The redundancy of checking and re checking of every word when it comes to a book like this by editors and advisors prevents me from believing this was her being a dumb arse.
Something else is afoot here.
