'Vaccines', even ineffective ones, are intended to create a systemic change in the immune system of the body. This is according to vaccine authority Dr. Stanley Plotkin. There have been recent publications that show examples of this with IgG4 antibodies in MRNA vaccine recipients.
Also, you may want to research immune imprinting to learn how an individual's first exposure to a pathogen will shape later immune responses.
So not sure what you mean by metabolites are long gone?
