If you have years of experience playing 1st base then you should know that righty vs left means absolute squat in this scenario.
The ONLY advantage a lefty has at 1st base is the quicker tag on pick off attempt. Those are so rarely successful which is why it hasn’t mattered across all levels of baseball for over 20 years.
