My group is all over 65.
We play yardages that are comfortable.
Usually 6500-6700 fits everyone in the group right now.

That group must be known as the “Bombers”.
I play at 5960 most days. I probably will move up again soon. Nobody has ever said to me, “you hit that too far.”
As long as everyone is keeping up the pace of play and enjoying their round, I don’t care where others decide to play.
Scores are a little better off a more forward tee, but IF you miss your second putt- it’s still a three putt!
