Does anyone have a mounting solution for the flat bracket style flood lights that you see on Amazon or is There a floodlight with a bracket, narrow enough to fit between the ribs Of the r panel? I have an 18 inch soffit and I wanted these chucked underneath it against the wall, which is about 15 foot up.

Maybe buy spacers for the screws?

They make a round metal box for mounting those type of lights.

LINK

I couldn’t get the image to paste from there

There’s just a big U Bracket spanning the width of the light and when you get above 60 watts or so, you exceed the span of an R panel flat and get into the ribs.
