believe it or not, I've had the same thrill catching a yellowfin, down to big saltwater trout, down to small fresh water trout on top. Just something about the fish coming up and showing itself and being able to watch the eat.
I would think a tarpon or giant trevally would be amazing!
Biggest one that still haunts me was throwing a black super spook in Big Lake on a dark afternoon just after a storm. Looked like someone dropped a bomb in the water. Fish broke me off without ever being able to see it. My mind says it was a shark, but my heart says it was the 9lb trout I was chasing...
