Same experience after my dad died and we were just trying to get the account into my moms name. Multiple visits to thier office and 3 death certificates mailed got us no where. After mailing the last one my mom called thier support to follow-up and they said they had the death certificate in hand but couldn't make any changes to the account. They’re just pure evil. There’s no other reason to do that other than they are evil.

This one is much more petty, but I moved to another city once and cancelled my Comcast subscription, and then the next month I got fricking billed for it. Was probably on the phone for two and a half hours, but when I finally got through they told me that I gave them the box just to store it which would mean I’m still paying them instead of cancelling it. You know god damn well that’s not what happened, and just the blatant lies from their staff.

Comcast has a lower approval rating than the IRS, which is really saying something. Just ridiculously evil.
