What kind of boat are you running, I’ll be on the lookout for you. I run an older Hydrasport Ocean Skiff Dual Console (not many of those around) with a newer 200 Suzuki. Have a camper at Bridgeside but usually tow up to Fourchon to launch to lessen the boat ride.

Back to OP, more about the type of fishing you are hoping to do? I’ve owned everything from a 15’ bateau with a tiller motor up to a 25’ offshore walk around cuddly cabin. FWIW, my buddy has pulled my boat several times with his Taco, and mine is exceptionally heavy for a 20’ boat.

And not sure where you are located, but if you’re north of Houma and fishing saltwater, you’ll quickly realize one day trips are very taxing, so add in the cost of a place to stay overnight.
