Maybe its time the OP cuts back on that drinking a little bit and gets some help.

Then you're probably riding them on borrowed time if you've already hit 6 animals in your car over the years.

I've been riding 53 years and have had just a few encounters with animals on the road including deer, good size turtles, snakes, small game (squirrels, rabbits, armadillo, etc.) and one alligator out in N.O. East on Chef Hwy. near Hwy. 11.

Luckily, all were near misses, but all had the potential to be nasty. The only thing I've ever hit and killed was a fairly large bird that came up out of the brush in N. Mexico when I was heading back home from a rally in Durango, Colorado. That damn bird hit my right side crash bar and exploded with feathers going everywhere and scared the hell out of my buddy riding his bike behind mine. It looked like a pillow fight gone bad.
