He will be on the hot seat because he’s the one coach in the country refusing to adapt. If he was using the portal and had another 9-4 season it wouldn’t be near as bad.
Clemson fans will start to question why keep around a coach that is adamant about not using the portal since it’s clearly not working

They are averaging 10 wins a season since the portal came about which is two more a year than they are accustomed to.
They know they have no shot at being a perennial top 5 team again so as long as Dabo keeps them in that 8-10 win range with a playoff appearance every other year or so, he’ll be there for life.
They aren’t LSU where they go through a coach every 5 seasons or so just because.
