I remember that. IIRC it was when Stern was getting big with his edgy style and Scoot tried to do some oddball creepy version of it. Was even more horrible then ever.

If i recall , in the 80s there was a jingle on local NOLA tv and radio that went :
“Scoot in the Morning
Scoot at Night
Scoot Scoot Scoot
When ya feeling uptight”
.. it’s possible i made that up or am just imagining it though

All he does is try to copy the style of other successful radio personalities. Stern, Rush, Beck, you name em…he’s been them all. He’s so pitiful. It’s a joke really.
