Yes, because we either have God given rights or we have government given rights. Does the violent piece of shite have his first amendment right taken away? Can the government quarter soldiers in his home? Why is the 2nd amendment the one that can be infringed even though it is the only one that says “shall not be infringed “? If someone is ok enough to be let out of prison then 100% of their rights should be restored. I’m sorry you love daddy government.

That’s a different argument though. That’s one about our criminal justice system being too lenient, which I agree with. However, that’s not the rule of law today so if a state wants to be soft on crime and say someone is able to rejoin society then all rights should restored to that person. I don’t believe in government given rights.
