That seems pretty low as evidence of "killing the ball hog narrative"

I don't even think that matters in the way we think it does though. BI failed not because he didn't shoot enough 3s or play within the offense. He failed because a guy like Dillon Brooks could shut him down before he even passed the 3 point arc with the game on the line. Trae may also not run the coaches preferred offense when the game tightens up, but I would expect the Pels to get a shot off instead of stacking empty possessions in the 4th as the defense ramps up and the Pels watch their lead dwindle.
