Anyone else experiencing overwhelmed DMVs ("Migrants")

My local DMV is on a 3-4 week waiting list to setup an appointment to renew licenses, transfer titles, etc.
I finally got my appointment today, and the entire office was filled with Spanish speaking foreigners. They all had alot of small children, strollers, babies, etc with them.
All of them getting their state issued IDs, and interpreters on staff to walk them through the process.
Not sure if anyone has experienced anything similar.

3-4 what? Hours? Days? Weeks? Are appointments general or specific there? For instance, making an appt for a renewal is different here than for a new license or id. I’m asking bc I need to book an appt online for a replacement and was wondering what I would face. Think I’m just going to book it in a small town about an hour away to avoid most of this.

It’s pretty wild I moved out here and there are less minorities here than back in Atlanta.
Havent been to the dmv yet.

Weeks.
I was getting my license renewed. They acted like all appointments are on a waiting list now.

I’m going to play with it while I’m booking online to see if I get the same appt days/times for every service. Still probably going to actually use the small town location to avoid the headache.

If you call yourself a actual female, I'm calling BS. I think you are a troll.
You have the vibe of a fake email or call over the phone.

Eat shite, troll. I’ve been here longer and have the established post history.

I havent noticed many in suburbs of Bham. Kind of hard to inject masses of migrants when your hood in 95% honkey.

Mine had four taco trucks set up before the DMV even opened.

Sorry. I put quotations in there to signal sarcasm.

DMV here is staffed by barely English speakers. It’s like going to Mumbai.
Excuse me? Can you repeat that? Huh? How much?
Always love having ESL people in customer facing roles.

The Supercenter in Carrollton might be your best bet depending on what you need to do. Renewing a license (where you need a new POC and eye test) is booked for months in a lot of places. People go to Sherman or out east and sometimes can get an earlier appointment.
