The PGA will absolutely ignore it because the entire ordeal is nonsense and they know it will be dropped. If they cut scheffler out of this tournament they will get absolute hell for it from every angle.

In this case, probably so. The consensus seems to be that this was a misunderstanding and rather than trying to figure out what was going on, the cop opted to go straight to arresting Schaffer. These charges are brought by the police, and it feels likely that the DA’s office will not move forward with them and they will be dropped.
