I listened to Darlington. Scottie slowly kept rolling and immediately stopped when he heard the officer announce he was a cop. How is that dumb?

That was the video from this morning right after everything went down. He was live 20 minutes ago and updated his report, saying the officer “grabbed” the vehicle and Scottie kept going. He didn’t say the officer maintained his latch to the vehicle.
Again, “Attached to the vehicle” is how the officer reported it. Darlington saw the arrest, not the initial interaction. He was simply describing the initial interaction using the words of the officer involved. He has since updated his description to better reflect descriptions from people other than just the officer involved. And “attached” is not a part of that reporting

I do not consider pulling around the cars dumbs as that is exactly what Scheffler and any pro athlete would be expecting to do in that situation.
