Going back to Bugs Bunny & Warner Bros, cartoonists routinely would aim their jokes and gags at kids but there was always a wink & a nod to the parents, older folks who they'd know were also watching. That's what makes such movies and shows 'timeless'. A style that today's studios are actively rejecting, to their own demise.

The idea of 'it's not made for you!' is what is acting like a dead albatross around the necks of some studios. Of course it's 'for' the kids, but there's a kid in all of us who have since grown up. That's the timeless aspect of so much of the older stuff.

You have no idea if this is the case in this movie. You are actively making shite up.

Btw Wreck it Ralph 2, the movie yall were bashing because they didn’t make it for adults… it made $529 million at the box office on a $175 million budget. That’s $35 million more than the first.

So maybe yall dk wtf you’re talking about and you have nostalgia towards older Pixar movies because you were YOUNG when they were made
