That sculpture also has Solon and Confucius. They are supposed to represent law makers since most people know that Moses carved out those commandments to keep the Jews under control.
@Chicken I'm just doing my duty and informing on someone that used the J word.

“I’m not concerned with an atheist. I’m not concerned with a Muslim,” she said when asked about teachers who might not subscribe to the Ten Commandments. “I’m concerned with our children looking and seeing what God’s law is.”

And this is why I think on a long enough timeline, all of these displays are going to end up getting barred, potentially even In God We Trust. Because these politicians are doing it to score political points, they can’t help but be vocal about why they are doing it. Otherwise, they wouldn’t score the points. I don’t envy the attorney who is going to have to stand there with a straight face and claim this doesn’t violate the Establishment Clause when the author is on record flat out saying that their intention is to violate the Establishment Clause

Unbelievable. Louisiana cities are suffering from historic levels of urban and economic decay, population loss, increasing murder rates, meanwhile Landry is more concerned with virtue signaling to gain clout and votes.
It saddens me because I have family in Louisiana and the people there are some of the nicest you’ll ever meet. Out of all of the southern states I’ve been to, Louisiana is probably the most culturally rich and unique out of all of them. There is too much culture and history for the state to be where it’s at right now. Absolutely pathetic.

Ah yes. The old "10 Commandments In Schools" Republican ruse. We haven't seen this movie before.
At the point, it's just insulting.
