Judo is brutal and definitely a young man's game. A judoka would scare me the most to square up to. You also get the added benefit of the BJJ ground game, although watered down.
To OP, you may be better off sticking to an established organization like Gracie United already mentioned.
I looked up the JM site. They may very well be legit, but the write up makes it sound like they do more MMA they standard BJJ. There also didn't seem to be instructor bios/lineage or BJJ affiliation on their site.
