What is the best pork tenderloin sandwich in downtown Indy?

I had one while visiting there. A place downtown near the center square of downtown called, Loughmiller's. It was good. Don't know if the best but concurrent convenient if your in the center of town.

This is a regional culinary delight, and many will claim it was invented in Iowa.

I’ve had many of these, and the best, by far, was in Dallas at a dive bar owned by an old drunk from Wisconsin.

In fact, while some will argue that the pork tenderloin sandwich was invented in the Czech neighborhoods of Cedar Rapids(IA), evidence suggests the sandwich was born in 1904, created by a pushcart operator named Nicholas Freinstein—in Huntington, Indiana. The idea was to bring the German Wiener schnitzel to the masses.

Robin Miller, the late IndyCar reporter, frequently recommend the Mug n Bun. If I ever get up that way, I’m going there for a tenderloin sandwich. They have a good looking website.

The Aristocrat has a good one imo. French onion soup on the side with some cold ones.

Indy ain’t all bad.

Other observations: pies are fairly ubiquitous up there. Seemed like majority of restaurants I ate at had copious pie selections.

I had to google this. It's a fried pork chop on a bun?

Mug N Bun in Speedway is good plus it has a fun old school drive-in vibe.

Sahm's is really good. One in Fishers on Allisonville Rd and one near Broad Ripple on Keystone Ave.

My absolute favorite is the ones you get at the track in May during qualifications and race day.

Mustard only!!!

Yes it's a pork tenderloin that's pounded until flat. Breaded and then lightly deep fried. Put it on a bun with a couple of pickles and some mustard.

It is good, but is it a sandwich? The bun is kind of superfulous...

It is delicious.

I used to live less than a mile from the Aristocrat. They had a decent tap list and the bar had a great old school vibe.

That photo with the baby bun has to be a pork loin. The first picture looks to be a pork tenderloin.
Loins are a cheaper meat, both would be good. Which was authentic and which is now more common?
