It really does. I get it from the organizational standpoint but it does suck, we probably never will see another Kerry Wood 20 k game again. Skenes is in the ballpark of the stuff that Wood had that day, which is arguably the greatest game ever pitched.

i'd say he finished strong. you arent gonna throw a guy back out there for 3 more innings at 100 pitches.
