I think what's more impressive is that it was against the same team from a week ago. They had film on him and it didn't matter.

He elevated his game and struck out twice as many from last week.

IDK remember the Cub's batter name but he was battling Skenes into a 3-2 count with pitch velocities in the high 90s, 100 and 101 and kept fouling them off to stay alive. Skenes came back to him on the 3-2 count with a 82 mph breaking ball and stuck him out swinging. He swung way ahead of the pitch...

It was beautiful.
