This tells you all you need to know about his stuff. He doesn’t blow up the radar gun, but Holman throws a heavy fastball and is a damn fine pitcher. I think it’s been good for him to be the 2nd game guy.

Yup. For comparison, Skenes had a .165 BA against. Should highlight how well Holman has pitched this year.

Yep, he was great and I like pitchers that show emotion in a good way but it’s so cool to see him just do his thing and look so cool and calm doing it. Great get by Jay.

Very steady and mentally tough. Most are too spoiled to appreciate Holman after what Skenes did. Holman imo is the best pitcher JJ has had at LSU other than Skenes.

Holman regressed a little when he was moved to Saturday and walked quite a few more batters in the second half but he has had a really good year for us
