South Carolina could get swept tomorrow @ TennerC and finish 13-17.

Vandy could get swept tomorrow @ UK vs their ace and finish 12-18.

UF could lose tomorrow @ Georgia and finish 12-18.

Alabama could get swept tomorrow @ Auburn and finish 12-18.

LSU could sweep tomorrow and finish 13-17.

LSU has a chance to enter the weekend at 12th in the conference and finish it tied for 7th with South Carolina.

All we really need though is one of those other games to go LSU’s way and of course handle business vs Ole Miss.

Why would we hold tie breaker over SC?

What is the tie breaker? Overall record? Amount of conference series wins? Genuinely curious

Ties will be broken in the following manner:

1. Two-Team Tie. The following procedure will be used in the following order until the tie is broken:

A. Won-lost results of head-to-head competition between the two tied teams.

B. If two-teams are divisional opponents:
(1) Won-lost percentage within their division (over the 18-game SEC division schedule).
(2) Won-lost percentage of the two teams versus the No. 1 team in their division (and proceeding through the No. 7 team, if necessary).

C. If two teams are not divisional opponents:
(1) Won-lost record of the two teams versus the No. 1 seed using common opponents only (and proceeding through the No. 12 seed, if necessary).
(2) Coin flip by the Commissioner

2. Three-Team Tie (or more). The following procedure will be used in the following order until the tie is broken: (Note: If the three tied teams have three different records against each other, they shall be seeded in best-percentage order.) Otherwise, once the tie has been reduced to two teams, the two-team tiebreaker procedure will be used.

A. If all three teams are common opponents: Total won-lost percentage of games played among the tied teams.

B. Won-lost percentage of the tied teams versus the No. 1 seed and proceeding through the No. 12 seed, if necessary, using common opponents only.

C. If three or more teams still are tied, the Commissioner will conduct a draw.

I can't believe we're actually in this situation considering where we were a few weeks ago. We were dead in the water.

Not sure how we win that tiebreaker

Kentucky is the 1 seed. We didn’t play Kentucky. Arkansas is the 2, we got swept, USC won 1.

If LSU wins tomorrow this is why I feel very confident about getting into the NCAA tournament regardless what happens in the SEC tournament. The SEC is gettting 10 teams in and LSU will be a top 10 team.

LSU had the hardest schedule at the beginning of the season regardless how many people want to down play it.

Would just love for us to essentially end Ole Miss’ season tomorrow and have Georgia basically end Florida’s season tomorrow unless they win 2 games in Hoover. If that happens, and there aren’t an insane amount of crazy bids stolen next week I feel confident LSU gets in. But first order of business is winning

Could have had a CG and a fresh BP for tomorrow. Now they are burning their best reliever. And Butch got tossed in the 3rd for arguing balls and strikes, so no one at the helm.

UF is a currently 1 game above.500. They shouldn’t get in regardless of what they do tomorrow or in the tournament. Obviously this is just my feelings and that doesn’t matter, but I still feel that way.

Agree. Just my feelings too but everyone in the SEC is getting in except Ole Miss Florida Missouri and Auburn.

I have a pretty good feeling Vandy is going down tomorrow and they’ll be out of the ncaa tourney.
