They promote rape, murder, drug use, etc.

It is the single worst culture this country has ever had. They encourage youth serving time in prison. They love gangs.

There isn’t a single redeeming thing about the entire industry. Nothing.

The Diddy video is just the very top most tip of the iceberg.

Hollywood and the entire music industry.

I dont understand why Conservatives support Hollywood in any way.

You will be labeled a racist for criticizing an “art form” that glorifies and encourages the negative aspects of a particular race/culture and normalizes negative, inaccurate stereotypes of that culture across all other races who listen to the “art.”

Rock and roll is the devil’s music. The only music that’s legal should be gospel music.

It's not an art form.

If Diddy had done that to my daughter he would have never lived to see a courtroom and I would have gleefully gone to prison over it.

You’re late to the party. The price of “free speech”. Teach your children well.

shite was forced upon us and more importantly our children, otherwise racism. Blacks have been used to help destroy the country.

I was in radio playing rock music in the late 60s. All my fellow DJs were convinced that '20 years from now young people will have a new type music and mock our rock the same way we mock Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.'

Boy, were we wrong. Rock is still popular 60 years later.

They weren’t right. But rock seems to be dying a slow death and is hardly popular. I don’t see 1 rock song on billboard top songs chart (granted I don’t know all the artists).

Country and rap are the only things selling.

Just glance at pop culture in general. People bitch about rap, its not just rap. Its movies, literature, pop music....

Art has been killed by soulless materialism, superficial challenges and chasing shiny objects.

It is popular on YouTube reaction videos but those are old songs.

Country music is selling because they sold out.

Bluegrass is trending up to do to Billy Strings.

Indeed

We have more information at our fingertips than any previous humans, and we choose soulless entertainment that adds nothing to our lives.

Its a dumbing down of the population.

Seriously? There hasn't been one rock band who debuted in the last 10 years that people know about. I'd say rock died around 2005. I can't think of anyone who was relevant after like The Killers or The White Stripes.
