Shreveport has a large black population and a lot of white CW fans. But they still have 2 radio stations that only play rock. A medium size market town supporting 2 stations playing 60 y.o. music is unusual.

BTW, I hear Frank Sinatra era stuff at Starbucks. I told the barista "Ya know, the people who bought his records are all dead. They're not in here buying coffee."
She laughed and said: 'Oh, we think it sucks, too. But we can't control what music is played.'

Which is sad, in the 80s Shreveport was a hotspot for Rock.
