We had a platter show in New Iberia on Sunday featuring black gospel music. Almost all of the records were being produced in Shreveport. As a South La. guy I assumed it would be New Orleans. When I moved to Shreveport they had a station that played exclusively gospel music every day. By the late 70s that was gone.
