Every run Dutton gave up last week was because Pearson couldn’t catch a fly ball and Neal couldn’t catch a pitch at his shoulder. Y’all need to chill

He gave up hard contact to like 5 straight hitters.

There is plenty of sample size to suggest it wasn't JUST that. I don't want to shite on the kid, but he's just flat out not that good. Neither is Hellmers before somebody else brings that name up.

Dutton will throw strikes, but his stuff is not SEC level. I'm sorry, it's just not. He's going to get hit, and hit hard. His good outings happens when those hit balls are right at people. I don't want to depend on that today.

If the plan is to go one time through the order, I can live with that I guess, because he would likely be needed to do that at some point today anyway.
