Nashville's Geodis Park stadium, I must have been in a Covid-time coma when they built it.

Because I don't remember hearing anything about it. I just saw it for the first time when I flipped over to Fox for a few minutes.

Geodis Park, known during development and construction as Nashville SC Stadium and Nashville Fairgrounds Stadium, is a 30,000-seat soccer-specific stadium at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee.

Honestly, it’s kind of shitty in person. Concourse felt really tight and stadium was steep. Nothing special

To be fair, Nashville was building shite all willy-nilly there for a few years. There just simply wasn't a project that the city wasn't willing to go into deep debt for during those years.

Seems like it would be better to Uber there and back .

I haven’t been, but it’s the coolest soccer specific stadium in the country.

I saw a men’s match vs Canada (drew 1-1).
It was badass.

Easy walk from downtown.
Easy walk to downtown after match.

It’s really nice. It has a really open feel compared to most stadiums. I saw a match last year and it was a great experience

Are you sure you're not thinking of Nissan stadium?

Geodis isn't located in a bad area at all, but it's certainly not very close to downtown and far, far from an "easy walk."

Agreed, according to Google Maps, a 3 mile walk to Ryman Auditorium taking 67 minutes.
