got a question for you guys.

i just sold a Colt 16" barrel to a dude in Connecticut. got it boxed up and ready to ship.

now i'm watching the latest Washington Gun Law video and he's talking about a CT AWB. that got me thinking... am I legally able to sale/ship this barrel to CT?

I don't know if they have different rules for personal sales but I wouldn't want to find out the hard way.

It doesnt talk about parts but it seems you cant have any new ARs only ones made on or before the ban? I wouldnt risk dat without at least calling someone up there in CT but that doesnt seem worth it.

I just moved into Connecticut and I possess an Assault Weapon. May I keep the weapon or if not what are my options?
Within 90 days of moving to Connecticut, you may sell the weapon to any licensed gun dealer, or you must do one of the following;

render the weapon permanently inoperable,
sell it to an out of state dealer,
relinquish the weapon to a law enforcement agency.
If you choose to keep the weapon you risk felony arrest.
