I pretty much only hunt dove on opening day and guess I haven't not had a couple of beers while hunting in many years.
Never enough to get drunk or even close to a buzz but about 3 or 4 in an afternoon. Doesn't effect my judgement over the course of an afternoon.

I dont drink anymore, but I once hunted with a cat that would whisper a group of teal in every time a craft beer was killed.

I'll have some beers and hunt. Mainly cause I'm a grown arse man who can handle a some beers without acting like a moran . I don't get shite canned and hunt. I will get shite canned and fish though..

Last weekend was the first time I hunted and drank. I made an afternoon deer hunt with 2 Heinekens.
The closes person to me was over 5000 yards and a lot of hills away.
I can see myself doing it again however, I will not make it a habit.
