Who has the bigger year, Dupre or Diarse?

I think Dupre is poised to really make a huge impact this year. When Harris was flashing brilliance, Dupre was a big part of that, but practice-attending folks I know say Diarse is the preferred target and will be as LSU goes forward. I'm aware that Doarse works a lot of possession routes, but Dupre has the speed and size and has proven that he can snatch the ball away from defenders on deep routes.

Who will shine more?

Dupre has a higher ceiling, but the coaches are very aware this is Diarse's last season and will try to help him look as good as possible.

Considering Diarse is a redshirt sophomore, I highly doubt that.

Diarse will lead us in YAC.

I can see them throwing him quick screens and getting him matched up 1 on 1 with smaller dbs

Diarse is more physical. Imho, Dupre is getting work in the slot partly because he is less likely to face press coverage at that position.

If Diarse is the preferred target, it's because of his physicality.

I have been a fan of Diarse since he was in high school, but I think Dupre will be the man.
May they both shine best in the biggest games.

Which means he is eligible. It's a widely known fact this is his last year.

I love Diarse. He's a solid possession receiver. Dupre is a solid X receiver.
Dupre is the better player. He'll see the field more.

I look at Diarse and see a Wright/Toliver type receiver. I actually think he'll get picked up by a NFL team when he leaves here.

That being sai, Dupre has a bigger year. Dupre will end up taking Dural's spot. He's legitimately on the same level as Amari Cooper was at this time. He has great potential. He's a versatile receiver that you can use on screens, fly routes, and can block.

If he gets enough targets he'll be a Bli finalist this year. Future first round pick.

1) No it isn't
2) Ask James Wright about that

no it's not

He's had a tough time seeing consistent playing time for us and is at best the #3 WR on the team this year and will be splitting those reps between Quinn, Chark, and Tyron Johnson. And you think "it's a widely known fact" that Diarse will be going pro after this season?

It's not whether or not he should, but he's made it clear to the coaches that he gone.
