Also had one snatch a rod out of my hand. Jumped in the water, swam to rod, swam back to boat, landed redfish.

I caught a 19" trout several years ago that had a 1/4oz jighead in its stomach. I've seen similar things happen with redfish, but it was surprising to me just because I didn't really think a trout would be hardy enough to survive with a hook in its stomach.

Their there in the summer. Just helps tremendously to have a boat.
We have caught them approaching 40lbs and have had 5 hooked up at once. Just have to fish the falling tide.

Ihometiger I should have clarified. You are right that was in June. In October we have a scout plane fly around until it locates a redfish. We bring out the 70' Viking and rig a platform that extends out 20' off the bow. We rig a harpoon with line attached. It's hit or miss. Depends on the depth of the duck ponds because the Viking can get stuck occasionally. Thank goodness those Seatow boats can pull out these big yachts.

I laughed too hard at this.

My almost-first yellowfin was actually caught by taillash. The fish took chunk pretty shallow while two other rods were out, and redneck started to crank one up. Me not really knowing what I'm doing, he spits the hook pretty quick. Everyone is kinda pissed for a second until the rod neck is hauling up bends over. He brings the fish up and his circle hook had wrapped the tail and cinched down on the line.
yeah that was awesome

Caught a redfish in Pt a Chien full of duck gizzards when I cleaned it, and offshore my buddy and I each side of the boat caught the same red at the same time. "I got one! I got one too! " caught same fish at same time

I've caught many fish with hooks in their mouths. The most had three hooks in its mouth. Have also tail wrapped tuna and billfish. The coolest was what a a friend of mine caught. It was a huge catfish that had two wood ducks in its stomach.
