The Championship is tGOAT 2nd division in all of sports. 46-game marathon with the top-two teams automatically promoted to the premier league. The third promotion place is determined by a playoff involving the 3-6 place teams. The two remaining playoff teams play at Wembley to decide who wins promotion. It is a game that is called the most lucrative sporting event in the world.
Teams finishing in the bottom three are relegated to League One.
This is a brutal league that can consume even the biggest of clubs. Toiling in the championship for a number of years is the equivalent to getting lost in the system in an American prison. WHY CANT WE SIGN A frickING WINGER AND FOR frick SAKE PLAY TWO UP TOP EVANS YOU GOD DAMN GOD DAMN
